I'm hoping, since November for the next week or so, is forecast to be cooler that perhaps the heat won't come in til December. I remember when we moved to the Flinders years ago that there were actually seasons - now it seems to be mildly cool and mostly hot. The blinds inside are drawn to keep it dark. I shut off any rooms that aren't in use, this helps too.

Your blinds look really good, hopefully I might get some too one day :)

xTaniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10176661940614462611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5721789526543237223.post-19351657939694065202013-10-20T11:29:22.786+10:302013-10-20T11:29:22.786+10:30If this summer is anything like the last I don'...If this summer is anything like the last I don't want to think about it at all. I feel like we hardly even had a winter this year at all. Last year we had such low water levels that we couldn't use our evaporative cooler at all so we just sweltered in those 45deg days (because outside was just too hot).
This year I am hoping to put up some blinds like yours on the western side of the house (which of course is the kitchen) to help with the afternoon sun.
Stay cool.
TracyTracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09185599118466320327noreply@blogger.com
