Letter Swap: Partners!

I've decided to organise partners a little differently for this swap, in that the person you will write to will not be the person you receive a letter from. I thought that due to the fact that there is not a large number of participants, this will be a fun way for each person to get a little more out of this swap.

So, the letter writing will work as follows:

Amanda will write to Sarah
Sarah will write to Louise
Writer.Elh will write to Alison
Alison will write to Rae
Rae will write to Denise
Denise will write to Pia
Pia will write to Amanda

Letter Swap Rules
Letters must be sent using the old fashioned postal service (not electronically)
All letter should be in the post no later than 29 October 2010

What you elect to write in and include with your letter is entirely up to you.
Whether or not you decide to reply to the letter you receive is also entirely your discretion.

Thanks to everyone participating for taking the time out to be a part of this swap. I hope you will enjoy it and that there will be some new friendships created along the way.

Also, a special thank you to Denise over at A Bun Can Dance for her promotion of the letter swap; it really helped boost interest and I appreciate it so much!

I will be emailing everyone with their partner's contact details over the course of the morning. You will need to contact that person to request their postal address.

Happy letter writing everyone!

  1. Hi Sorcha !
Such a good idea to have a circular style letter swap - I can't wait !
But who is writing to you ?? I am very happy to send you a letter, so please do send me your address via email - (I've sent you an email just now).
Thank you again for organising :-)
    Happy days,
    Denise x

  2. i think this letter swap is such a lovely idea, and that you decided to host one sweet (i too did promote the swap on my blog and twitter, you know;)

though for me personally a letter is such a personal thing, to get to know and be known by the same recipient-sender, that special exchange, for me, kind of gets lost in the pass-it-forward idea of a swap... or am i just being grumpy? maybe this will be another kind of fun.

just my thoughts... that by no means may be the one and only right ones. and the replying to the sender certainly is a fine thing...:)

    thank you kindly for hosting!

  3. Hi Denise! No worries, I have a partner too: I am Sarah. ;)
    ~S. xo

  4. Hi Pia! I'm sorry, I didnt realise that you had promoted the swap as well: It has been a hectic week and I probably havent been paying as much attention to blogging as I should have. If you would like me to send you a little thank you (which I honestly dont mind), please just email me your postal details. :)
The way the swap is set up you have the potential of making *two* new friendships, as opposed to just *one* - I thought that would make it a little more fun for everyone. ;)
    Happy weekend!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I really appreciate any suggestions, feedback and comments you may like to share, so please don't be afraid to leave them. It'd be wonderful to see you return again!
