Being Green.

Green fields...

Green hills and plains...

Green along the creeks...

And green around the cliffs...

Green moss on rocks...

The bright green of a lemon tree...

And a cosy-warm, little green cottage make for a wonderfully wintery July in the Ranges.

    1. Yes, we have a woodfire. It heats the entire cottage and is far more effective than any other means of heating. I dont think I could live here without it! It's not as cold as Canberra, but it's still plenty cold enough! We've the fire alight 24/7 at this time of year.

  3. Isn't it just beautiful all that new life. We live in the Adelaide Hills and we are always happy to see the massive variety of different coloured 'greens' as we drive through and around our beautiful area during Winter. We have had an incredible amount of rain in the last few weeks the creek which runs through our town is still up over it's banks.

    1. The rain has been wonderful! We've had more than our annual average in just 6 weeks! And to think just two months ago we were on the verge of drought - how quickly things can change! The creeks here are running continuously for the first time in a long time too.
