A favourite pastime: Roaming the Ranges in search of old farm houses and ruins of pioneer cottages, a reminder of the way things were and never will be again.
I love old buildings, oh the stories they can tell...Grandma and Grandpa would have lived in something like this. I remember her telling me stories about snakes and dirt floors. Some good old ruins in the Gawler Ranges too.
You'd love Cornwall - there are bits like this all over the coastline and lots of old Tin mines and things like that so there are funny spoil piles all over the place that make the landscape look amazing.
